Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor showed up unannounced on the press day for UFC 223 at the Barclays Center in New York – and is completely out of action there. He now turned to the police.
Conor McGregor was arrested on Friday morning in New York. The Irishman turned his back on his attack and now has to expect harsh sanctions – from the state as well as from the side of the UFC. “That was a really bad decision for his career,” said President Dana White.
The Irish MMA fighter, who will lose his lightweight UFC belt to Khabib Nurmagomedov or Max Holloway on Saturday, stormed the Barclays Center’s underground car park with his team and threw the bus that brings the fighters back to the hotel, among others a safety gate and a garbage bin.
